New title: CEO of Constantia Flexibles
Spratt moves into his new position on Jan. 1, 2025. He will take over for Uwe Röhrhoff, who was appointed interim CEO in September. Röhrhoff will move back to his previous role as a member of the company’s supervisory board.
Spratt has 24 years of packaging industry experience, and prior to joining Constantia, he was at Ardagh since 2021. Before that, he served in various positions, including leadership, at Amcor for nearly 20 years.
“I am honored to lead Constantia Flexibles at this exciting time. Together with our talented team, I aim to drive innovation and sustainability, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value for our customers and make a meaningful impact in the packaging industry,” Spratt said in a news release.
In January, New York City-based One Rock Capital Partners announced that one of its affiliates completed its acquisition of Vienna-based Constantia Flexibles. Prior to that, Paris-based investment firm Wendel owned Constantia for more than eight years. In February, Constantia announced plans to acquire 57% of the shares of Aluflexpack from Montana Tech Components.
Constantia describes itself as the world’s third-largest flexible packaging producer, with solutions made from substrates including fiber, plastic and aluminum. It employs more than 9,580 employees globally, when counting a joint venture in India.
